Nanyang Business School crowned champions at McGill Management International Case Competition
Business Solutions is a student-driven initiative that seeks to promote the business case culture at the Nanyang Business School (NBS) and trains students in analysing and providing solutions to real-world business problems. Business Solutions is enthusiastically supported by the NBS faculty and by the Asian Business Case Centre, NBS’s very own research centre that houses the largest repository of Asian cases in the world.
Since its founding in February 2005, Business Solutions has organised multiple case-related events including the annual international Asian Business Case Competition (ABCC), and the inaugural Singapore Business Case Competition 2011, which attracted 120 teams from the four local universities.
The club has also performed well in international case competitions. An addition to its record of being both champions and finalists would be its latest win at the McGill Management International Case Competition 2011 in Montreal. The club has also emerged champions at the Undergraduate National Case Competition organised by the Concordia University in January 2008, the International Business Strategy Challenge organized by IIT Bombay in October 2007, and finalists at the Thammasat Undergraduate Business Challenge 2009, Maastricht University International Case Competition 2010 and SDS New Zealand International Business Case Meet 2010.
More than the silverware, Business Solutions has been the feeder of talent for top employers and has consistently produced all Valedictorians of Nanyang Business School since its inception.
Dedicated to spreading business case culture, Business Solutions has undertaken the responsibility of deeply establishing Nanyang Technological University in the international case circuit. The club wishes to thank the deanery and faculty of Nanayng Business School, for their strong support.
